What a fantastic morning at the Kiwanis Ahwatukee @KiwanisOfTukee 50th Annual Easter Parade and Spring Festival! 🎉🐰🇺🇸 I was proud to represent my Kiwanis Club of Tempe and even better, got to team up with my good friend Doug Royse with the Tempe Exchange Club to hand out American flags to the kids and veterans. The wind was blowing perfectly all day, making those little flags wave like crazy, it was such a joyful sight! Nothing beats seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces and shaking hands with our vets. Oh… and of course I had to snag a photo with the Easter Bunny himself! 🐰 Grateful for days like this that bring the community together. The preliminary results are in from yesterday's Tempe City Council election, and while we came up just short of advancing to a runoff—missing it by a hair—I'm at peace with the outcome. As someone who truly believes everything happens for a reason, and when one door closes, another opens, I feel grateful and optimistic about what's next. A huge thank you to my incredible supporters, volunteers, donors, and most importantly, every voter who made their voice heard. Your energy, time, and trust meant the world to me. What excites me most is the expanded network of amazing people I've connected with throughout this campaign—supporters and even detractors alike.
