Rehabilitation should not be seen as a luxury healthcare service. Complex issues require specialist skills and adequate resources. Rising levels of unmet rehab needs have knock-on consequences on health & social care systems. Rehabilitation is an investment.

In order to increase diversity in medical specialties you need to ACCEPT diversity. You can’t open the door for black people and people of color but expect them to strip away their identity in order to fit what you believe to be a standard of professionalism.
