My name is Ekemini Nelson. I joined a Start-up as a Marketing Manager & Social Media Manager. November last year, @UtyAlves reached out to me on WhatsApp. Hi KEMKEM, can we meet? I have something important to discuss with you. Me: yes, of course. During the meeting he said, I am building @techbridgeX. And I want you to join my team. Alves shared his vision which aligned with my aim. I accepted the offer even though I know it’d be challenging considering my daily schedule but I am determined to build something offline not just that, I am passionate about no-code education. N/B: My experience as a Social Media Manager came largely from managing my personal media presence. I am on every platform so I am familiar with the terrain. I did some stuff for Forex Academies sometime back and also managed @KalloView at some point earlier last year. I am also managing @burnt_xion related account @xiondigest & contribute to the @xion_community.. so in terms of social media account management I am loaded. I won't say I know everything but I know what to do with my eyes closed. In Marketing do I have the experience needed? My honest answer will be (No, I don't have the practical experience). Or let's say the portfolio. But I have been around the tech space since 2023. I have volunteered and worked with a couple of web3 communities & product. I am currently working with some as a content writer. I understand the common problems of start-up, I might not have all the solutions but I have solutions for visibility and sales. Our first X account @tbxacademy got suspended after some few posts that got an impressive visibility. Elon Musk did his thing. - Facebook, Tiktok & Instagram is running smoothly. - we started with consulting - traditional marketing in schools ( Secondary Schools). - we set up ads to reach out target students. - we created contents on trends, kept our pages active etc. Yesterday was our Orientation Day. We outdid the expected numbers. We had space problems, cause our target numbers exceeded. Over 50+ students have registered for the classes. All I can't say is that we are nervous and excited. Next, I will share the experience of I personally learnt from organising an event of this magnitude.
