@Jenny_1884 I saw a report of how much (of the donated cash) the @BBC claimed for staff & administration of the charity, plus the huge reserves they hold; & then it started turning woke, I bailed on the whole idea. Not sure people know whats going on with donations (& the siphoning off)!

@Jenny_1884 Scrapped my TV licence 20+ years ago and stopped watching television and recommend everyone does the same. Your money should go directly to your choice of charity. Don't go via intermediaries as it wastes the money and gives to undeserving foreigners.

🚨 Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust signs off £660,000 on translation and interpreting services. At a time when the NHS is stretched to breaking point… waiting lists are soaring and staff are under constant pressure. And yet this is where the money is going. In most countries, if you need a translator for healthcare, you pay for it yourself. Here? The taxpayer picks up the bill. And in 2026, we all carry devices in our pockets that can translate instantly, for free. So why are we spending £660,000 on this?
