FOPCC have been busy lining the other half of the Cross Walk Path in the churchyard, so that we can lay chippings down next week. Very hard and difficult work with only a few volunteers this week, but we succeeded, and managed to tidy a few graves as well. Well done guys!

Our churchyard is looking good again after we have mowed the grass and strimmed everywhere. The weather was nice after last week's torrential rain. Well done team.

The Friends of Prescot Cemetery & Churchyard have had a lovely but very warm afternoon. We have concentrated our work today on the Garden of Rest. impossible to see anything. This is an area where there are cremated remains, but no maker/names allowed. The oldest graves are here.

Another lovely day for our volunteers. Mowing, strimming, fixing graves etc. We have also installed two memorial plaques into the circle around the BICC War Memorial. If you would like one of these, please let us know.

Only mad dogs, Englishmen and FOPCC went out in the sun today to do our bit for our community. Weeding, strimming, tidying and putting a top coat of cement underneath the new benches. We were Hot, hot, hot.

Another 2 lovely benches installed today around the BI Memorial. Dedicated to Prescot's Fallen, and to Prescot's historic past. We are quite proud of them and want to thank everyone for their donations and fundraising,

The Friends of Prescot Cemetery & Churchyard have had a busy afternoon, strimming, weeding, and making some graves safe so that they can finish the Cross Walk Path over the next few weeks. We had some new members today, which enabled us to get more done.

Another lovely afternoon for FOPCC today. We've worked on the Babies Memorial Garden and cut the grass, weeded and planted summer bedding plants. Don't we look posh in our new uniforms?

Fantastic work being done by FOPCC. More stone has been put down on the cross walk path, the daffodils & tulips are still blooming. Come along and join us.

The Cross Walk path has had sand/stone to level it off before we put the membrane down. Churchyard is looking great with the daffodils and tulips in bloom. A very successful afternoon in God's little acre. Well done FOPCC

FOPCC have been busy in God's little acre today, restoring the old Cross Walk Path, and planting shrubs. Delighted to say that the Daffodil Walk is blooming and will get better each week. Well worth a visit to this ancient churchyard.

A very busy day in the sunshine for FOPCC. Continuing to put coping stones in to line the Cross Walk Path. The spring flowers looked stunning, and all our past efforts of bulb planting was well worth the effort now that they are in flower.

The first of the daffodils are open! We have been clearing the path and topping up some of the graves which had sunk with the soil. We have a few projects underway if anyone would like to help out. A lovely day today but a bit windy.

What a difference a few days makes. The cemetery & churchyard look stunning in both the bad weather and the glorious sunshine today. There are a mass of snowdrops, crocus coming out, and the daffodils should be flowering soon.

The Cross Walk path has been dug out and is ready to be lined with wooden batons then we will put stones down as it is rather muddy. This will eventually be an alternative exit/entrance from the Churchyard into the Cemetery to stop people walking all over the unmarked graves area

A new bench has been installed in the churchyard today (a donation by the Adam Charity), dedicated to Adam and to all the animals who were killed during the war. Hope you like it.
