People are always making BFDI fan-seasons, why won’t anyone remake post split with the same contestants and good writing

Great now gelatin is this month's osc switch up but personally I think it's unfair to hate anyone in post split because they were all victims of terrible writing and I don't consider post split as canon anyways even if that sounds kinda dumb but still.
