Earlier today I was telling a broker that we have $100M to deploy, buy strip centers all-cash, etc. He was polite, but bored. His colleague then turned to him and told him I was behind the “StripMallGuy” account. His eyes lit up. “I have to find you deals!!” Serious question: It would be socially awkward to mention the account during meetings - but it changes the entire dynamic of the conversation. SAVE ACT: Thune just admitted Senate Republicans co-sponsored the Save America Act with no intention of passing it. They promised cloture votes they knew would fail and never had 50+1 votes for passage. It was a scam from day one. Thune is basically laughing at the president and the American people. You can hear the condescension in his voice. The laughing from his fellow Republican Senators is also a very bad look. These people are not on the side of the American people.
