Parents: Do not give your children any AI companions or AI enhanced toys. With social media 15 years ago, we can say we didn't know.
With AI, we can already see some of the harms, such as suicide and psychosis. Other harms will surface years from now.

Providing AI with an exemption from state legislation would be dangerous in a world where an increasing number of our kids are being targeted by AI companions, AI generated deepfakes, and AI powered social media algorithms. Protecting our kids is not a partisan issue and we should all oppose this gift to the tech companies that are already harming our kids at an industrial scale.
