SHADOW BAN
For the longest time, I thought my content was the problem.
I'd spend time writing a post, hit publish, and then... almost nothing.
Barely any impressions.
Hardly any replies.
Even people who normally engage with my posts weren't seeing them.
I started changing my writing style, posting at different times, and blaming the algorithm.
Turns out, it wasn't my content.
My account had likely been restricted because of a few habits I didn't think mattered.
I was replying too much in a short period, using hashtags everywhere, reposting a lot, and not creating enough original content.
So I changed a few things.
I slowed down, posted more original content, limited hashtags, engaged naturally, and stopped trying to "beat the algorithm."
Within days, my reach started improving again.
The biggest lesson?
X doesn't reward people trying to game the system. It rewards people who consistently create value and behave like real humans.
If your reach suddenly drops, don't assume your content is bad.
Sometimes, the fix is changing how you use the platform—not what you post.
Repost this if it helped someone avoid tweeting into the void. 🚀
