You cannot allocate scarce resources efficiently when bureaucrats replace market signals. Cuba's average monthly wage remains $30 while North Koreans starve. Meanwhile, Hong Kong transformed from fishing village to financial powerhouse through free markets. Property rights create prosperity. Central planning creates poverty. The choice stays yours.

The early church was marked by simplicity in worship: no images, no ornate vestments, no elaborate ceremonial displays or processions. Those things belonged to the surrounding pagan world with which they were at war with. Eventually Christianity won out, and paganism was destroyed. In later centuries, the devil found a way to bring it back in, this time through the papists. Now we again find pomp, demi-gods, smells, & superstition; we see prayers directed to angels and saints; veneration of images; adoration of the host; and worship conducted with incense, vestments, spectacle, ritual display, etc. These were all practices that had been distinctly pagan. Thus, what began as the simple worship of God in spirit & truth took on forms of the religions that Christianity had once displaced. That's why today, Rome looks nothing like the early church, and very much like blatant old school paganism. (And EO isn't any better. Basically a mysticized version of the above, with the added practice of wood worship.)

El parque de viviendas en España es de más de 25 millones. De ellas, el 30% son segundas residencias. Y la vivienda pública no llega al 3,5%. Pero para paliar eso ya están los propietarios para este Gobierno. Los pequeños y medianos, en mucha más medida que esas 13. BELLACOS.

Esto funciona así: 1. Snchz juega al basket. 2. Un colega del basket en paro acaba de alto cargo en el ministerio de Vivienda. 3. Otro, policía municipal, acaba de jefe de seguridad de la SEPI. 4. Y otro más, también en paro, acaba de consejero en CriteriaCaixa. Adelante.

La tontuna de la izquierda mediática de hoy es esta: ¡oh 13 caseros tienen 100.000 viviendas! De estos 13 “caseros”, buena parte son instituciones públicas, y estas viviendas suponen un 3% aprox del mercado. Mirando los datos globales de 2024, el 75% de la vivienda está en manos de personas físicas. Hay 38000 personas que tienen más de 10, el 1,23% de total. Del 25% restante, el 15% son de empresas privadas y 10% de instituciones públicas. Y ojo, privadas no significa fondos buitre: también hay bancos y excajas de ahorros etc… Que no te engañen con chorradas.

Ojalá hubiera tenido la misma obsesión por vigilar las vías que a los periodistas.

Hemos llegado a un punto en el que una parte de la sociedad se escandaliza si una chica joven decide hacerse monja en una película , pero calla y otorga cuando alguien quiere suicidarse en la realidad.

UGT reclama frenos al incremento de la productividad y la competitividad de las empresas españolas para poder sorprenderse después de que los salarios no crezcan y achacarlo a "los malvados empresarios".

In short, early Church gatherings were intimately Catholic. Gavin quotes Justin Martyr in his video saying the following: “For not as common bread and common drink do we receive these; but in like manner as Jesus Christ our Saviour, having been made flesh by the Word of God, had both flesh and blood for our salvation, so likewise have we been taught that the food which is blessed by the prayer of His word, and from which our blood and flesh by transmutation are nourished, is the flesh and blood of that Jesus who was made flesh.” This is simply not compatible with Baptist theology.

@goldenkey112 I still can’t quite get my head around the god eating stuff. Seems weird. Culturally very alien to me. I get it as a symbol and I suppose you can convince yourself that the communion wafer is gods real presence cause folks can believe anything.

Dr. Scott Hahn’s testimony of his first experience at Holy Mass: “As an evangelical Calvinist, I had been taught that the Catholic Mass was the greatest sacrilege that a man could commit- to resacrifice Christ- so I wasn't sure what to do. I watched and listened as the readings, prayers and responses- so steeped in Scripture- made the Bible come alive. I almost wanted to stop the Mass and say, “Wait. That line is from Isaiah; the song is from the Psalms. Whoa, you've got another prophet in that prayer." I found numerous elements from the ancient Jewish liturgy that I had studied so intensely. All of a sudden I realized, this is where the Bible belongs. This was the setting in which this precious family heirloom was meant to be read, proclaimed and expounded. Then we moved into the Liturgy of the Eucharist, where all my covenant conclusions converged. I wanted to stop everything and shout, "Hey, can I explain what's happening from Scripture? This is great!" Instead I just sat there, famished with a supernatural hunger for the Bread of Life. After pronouncing the words of consecration, the priest held up the Host. I felt as if the last drop of doubt had drained from me. With all of my heart, I whispered, “My Lord and my God. That's really you! And if that's you, then I want full communion with you. I don't want to hold anything back."
