There was a noticeable mood shift in Westminster last night. Up until now Labour MPs have been pretty glum and unhappy. But it hasn't felt as "febrile" as it did in the Tory chaos days. I had a furious response by Zack Polanski to my assertion that he doesn’t believe in growth. The one good thing that came out of it was that I took the advice of those (including @owenjonesjourno ) who suggested I should make myself more familiar with Green Party ideas. I’ve still a lot of work to do on this. But in the economic section of the Green 2024 manifesto (which I am assured remains valid), I hope I can be forgiven for feeling vindicated by this:
