During a 12-hour operational period @mcfrs designated snow plows handled 160 plow calls (four @MCDOTNow plows & several utilitity vehicles w/ snow blade. MCDOT large snow plow was mostly automatic dispatch, about half total response performed by utility vehicles with snow blades

Congrats @mcfrs MFF Tom Henry. After approximately 2000 hours of training between the police academy & significant ‘field’ training, Master Fire Fighter Tom Henry has officially become a member of the Montgomery County Fire Rescue Service Fire & Explosives Unit.

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Past Chief and Life Member James (Jimbo) Magruder Sr. last evening. Jimbo joined GWGVFD in 1967, quickly rising through the ranks & remaining active for many years. Our condolences go out to his wife, family, & friends.

The GWGVFD extends our heartfelt condolences on the loss of one of your own MCFRS firefighters, MFF Chris Higgins. We stand in solidarity with @BVFD15 & @ehvfc12 in this time of sorrow, offering our prayers to his family and friends.
