Both Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart spoke today about what they learned from last year's collapse in Game 1 of the conference finals: Brunson: “I think experience always is able to teach you a lot of lessons [for] this time around. Obviously we know what we have to do. It's obviously not gonna be easy at all. But I think to be able to close games and close quarters is gonna be really important for us. Obviously, last year with Game 1, we didn’t do that. And Game 2, obviously losing that as well, it changed a lot. So for us, we've just gotta be prepared and understand what we have to do for the entire 48 minutes and just be locked in and win or lose, just have short-term memory.” Hart: “In the playoffs you never want to give away games that you should win. You can never relax, especially the style that the NBA is played now. You see 10-, 15-, 20-point leads dwindle in four, five minutes. So it’s just that mentality of it’s never over. Play until there are zeroes on the clock. You can’t give games away.”

I love John Franco, s/o to Staten Island and Brooklyn, but there’s no way I’d be able to look myself in the mirror after this. To legendary to be acting a fool, I’d get myself straight into the gym and get to work on trying to make it back in the show level shape.

How to lose a guy in 10 days is one of my favorite rom coms ever but it always boggled my mind they had Matthew McConaughey playing a New Yorker from Staten Island with his Texas accent. Also that finals game was March 14th, 2002 vs The Kings, we won that game in real life! We stunk that year and The Kings were a beast . I also met Jay Z that game at halftime and he was cool as hell. I asked for a photo, he took my camera and tried to take a selfie and it dropped and broke… such an epic fail…
