Can see why players love playing for John Eustace. Knows when to draw the line I’m sure, but seems to really channel his playful side to create a good-humoured camaraderie that negates the pressure. Such a key facet of management.

@GabSutton @natashaeveritt7 Although would stop clubs milking big away followings. Different ticket prices, different bar prices and so on. It was really beginning to grate in the 4th year league 1

@ChazMcPosh @DMAC102 The trip bought me my Posh shirt, you sold me the season ticket, Darragh's got me committed to the away days.

@DMAC102 You don’t think you played well against Exeter, Darragh?! I thought you were fantastic, other than a mad 10 minutes at the start of the second half

I disagree, I would anticipate a big clear-out. Gareth will want to get his hands on the recruitment process, find his cultural architects and be very clear about the people he brings into the building. Suspect he's merely saying what he is in public to manage the group he has right now.

@mgingles79 Wouldn't argue with most of that. Gareth definitely does it more than most. As long as you don't think that's what he's saying in the big meetings

@GabSutton Generally wouldn’t have an issue with it Gab, all managers do it. However we’ve won 5 in 28, there are 9 games left of the season, most players are out of contract. Don’t see the need to say anything to be honest. It will just piss off the fans.

@tomfiler @natashaeveritt7 Yes, I think the issue you have at lower levels, where away tickets are less in demand, is what that would do to the cost for neutrals. There might be casual spectators who would go in the away end if it means spending less, and then you might be less likely to convert them.

@GabSutton @natashaeveritt7 Surely they'd have to have different caps per division too. You know if they capped them at 30 quid with the Championship in mind, a load of L1 and L2 clubs would start charging £30 for away tickets.

@AliMaxwell_ I would say 30 starts is the minimum, other than in rare and extreme cases.

Here's something I wrestle with, keen to know anyone's thoughts: Should there be a minimum threshold for minutes played, or starts, for someone to be eligible for a league-wide Player of the Season award or a place in Team of Season? If not, why? If so, what's the threshold?
