there is billions of usd on sidelines wanting to lend in defi but the yields in defi are too fucking low can someone come up with a good yield product that can scale pls

i think crypto should be trading much higher tbh no reason why it goes lower there is literally nobody left sentiment is worst since 2015 (insane to say this) meanwhile somehow institutions are doing everything they can to come onchain and crucially crypto has never been more valuable than now in a world of capital controls and war idk tho

@bzogrammer The problem is for Claude it’s not structured knowledge and concepts and causation chains linking, for Claude it’s correlations which is useless for decision making.

My intuition for what Claude is, relative to humans and the domain of all discovered and legible knowledge

Any app that collects context about you, any app that helps you refine your intent against information inside that app before resolving it. Maps that would tell me that I pass by my favourite cousine that fit my budget x times a week would be a great product. (With maps example, probably google will own that space). But there are many other apps with great AI UX to be built.

@BeerBicepsGuy Having offline networks of trusted information would be the edge. Critical thinking from first principles is good, but the environment is a bit shaky those days, so good info is gold. As always was.

Over time, the average person will outsource more thinking. Which means the real edge won’t be AI tools. It will be your ability to think clearly, solve problems, and operate from first principles. AI can execute. Only you can decide what’s worth executing.

@musing_monica It should expand probably, and doing part of work doesn’t replace the job, with oil at 100+ it will be tough tho anyways.

If AI will take most jobs, how will the economics function?!

I had an idea of doing some mcp where you could collect your prompts extract data on what you’re doing (on your pc) then select what you’re sending off to server and then get matched to clauders/codexers with the same interests in your city/online. But I usually disregard those type of ideas as networks are the hardest thing to bootstrap. Also, using AI for long time alone is dangerous, as it feels like it gives you all information in the world whilst it doesn’t do that, it doesn’t help much with information bubble.

I think one of the biggest challenges when it comes to going hard into using AI is loneliness I am learning all these awesome things and becoming super capable But the set of people that I can really talk to about it is very small Is anyone else having this experience?

@buildwithshyam You need to get into users brain to know the whys, all interaction with website is by definition can’t detect causation. Aggressive A/B testing with new hypothesises is the way

@TTrimoreau AI won’t remove the need to learn, it’s probably going to be wise versa. It’s correlation models not causation models. So learning in AI era is more essential then ever
