One social media tip for the young uns that will keep you safe and your experience more pleasant is not to overshare Treating your public page like a diary is fine if you are absolutely anonymous If you do not prefer anonymity (like me) then you have to be very careful about what you share. Never identify the people in your life especially if the context is negative. Don't write anything that will affect someone named and known. Don't let internet strangers have any info or context about you which they will inevitably use against you when you fall out online with them. Stay on your toes always, this is not a safe space and will never be.
