During this intensive program, new staff members engage in hands-on learning that enhances their campcraft, navigation, whitewater, and climbing skills.

Its comprehensive 16-day New Staff Training provides an introduction to Outward Bound methodology, equipping instructors with the skills needed to work their first course.

Executive Director Jamall Kinard is working to turn LNA into an economic mobility hub that empowers residents financially and engages community members by connecting them to resources and opportunities.

Grantee Lakeview Neighborhood Alliance (LNA) had an excellent turnout for its 2024 spring festival, where residents enjoyed good weather and good vibes as they set their sights on accomplishing more impactful work this year.

If you or a loved one are struggling with drug or alcohol use, please contact grantee Dilworth Center which has provided treatment for alcoholism, drug addiction and associated mental health conditions for more than 34 years.

This trend underscores the need for supportive measures to assist the children + families affected by such losses.

According to the JAMA Journal of Psychiatry, about 321,566 children in the U.S. lost a parent to drug overdose between 2011-21, highlighting a significant increase over the decade.

The program focuses on increasing foundational literacy skills and English Language proficiency for students in grades 3-5 who are identified as English Language Learners (ELL).

Check out grantee International House’s after school tutoring program Rising Up, which provides students with a positive setting to share their cultural differences and develop more confidence when speaking English.
