@the6eyed I don’t think he would try harder like others are saying either due to the reasons above. He doesn’t feel obligated to change himself on account of another and he will stick to that even if it feels wrong. It’s the only thing he knows how to do.

And sure he becomes massively faster. But he dies afterwards. You can have every character become stronger than base using insane random death vows.
