So will this end the Inspired > Skewmond discussion. Last time I talked about it, the argument was Inspired looked better at internationals. When did Inspired ever 3-0 a LCK team? And nah the “Caps carried him” argument doesn’t work for this series.

It really is pretty crazy that when the guest slot was announced Riot explicitly announced that academy teams were still allowed and TL/FLY successfully vagueposted their way into the average fan thinking that they're banned.

@HommyAG @GarageMan20 So they can however the players CANNOT promote which just kinda leads to it being a developmental experience y which is what it should be anyways but it also means you aren’t developing the best players for tier 1

@HommyAG All good. It’s not something I’ve ever looked into, but thinking about it further, you’re right. LYON Academy technically has a path to promote to LCS. P/R is no excuse for FLY and TL to have dropped their academies

@Sm4rshTTV You literally can? Multiple CBLOL teams have academy teams, with some topping their respective tier 2 leagues. Academy teams cannot promote to LCS/CBLOL guest slot =/= you cannot have an academy team, that's kool-aid fed to you by the LCS orgs
