Today it was a real pleasure to congratulate the borough's children on becoming a UNICEF child friendly borough. It is their victory. I then got to propose a motion on the topic at full council. The Independents abstained, ignoring the children of the borough and their win.

Four of Hatzola’s six ambulances vehicles that exist solely to save lives were deliberately set on fire in Golders Green this morning. This wasn’t vandalism. It was a calculated, cowardly antisemitic attack on the Jewish community and on all of us. Appalling. 🚑🔥

Yet again, the Redbridge Independents try and shout my speech down at budget council. This time because I said over the next four years 100 per cent of our schools will be good or outstanding. Yes Ofsted don't use single words anymore, but that will still be our ambition.
