The meltdown over Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is truly something EVERYONE needs to pay attention to. You see, as the first & only black woman to ever serve on the court, she had to be 10 times better than most… She continues to flex her brilliance in oral arguments & many dissents. Please note that by the time a black woman ascends to a powerful position, she Definitely Earned It… if you have any questions… let’s talk about Senator, now Secretary Mullin… or please pull the resumes of some of the other justices before entering this chat… actually just don’t, it’s not a debate, these are FACTS (alternative facts = LIES).

Alito: Some right wing culture war issue he's seething with anger about the result being bad
Barrett: A meticulous treatise threading a needle that convinces nobody

Remember, if Kagan joins a Sotomayor/Jackson opinion, it’s likely at least plausible. If Kagan declines to join a Sotomayor/Jackson opinion, it’s definitely insane. And if *Sotomayor* declines to join a *Jackson* opinion, you’re in for a real treat.

The court's first and only opinion for the day is in Chiles v. Salazar, on whether a Colorado law barring conversion therapy violates free speech. The opinion is from Justice Gorsuch and the vote is 8-1, with Justice Jackson dissenting.
