I agree that money must be invested in people's welfare, but with this regime in Iran, in near future there will be no welfare around the world. Suppose what happens once they get higher range of missiles, which the will. Picture what happens once they have nuclear weapons, which they are very close to. Once it happens it will be too late, it will be irreversible even if you spend 10 times more.
And do not even think anything can stop them. They killed thousands of their own people in less than a week. People who were just asking for basic freedom.
A good leader, sometimes has to reorder their priorities, Which I believe is exactly what President Trump is doing. So instead of rising against it, you'd best look at it from another perspective.
