Barrie Colts have traded Cole Emerton to the Sarnia String in exchange for 7 draft picks. Emerton manned the top spot on power play 1 for majority of play this season with Barrie, passing to flanks such as Aitcheson & Hemming. He held is own. #OHL

That seems like a lot for Emerton

@JaredBrownn97 You're wrong here Jared. The last 2 weeks every non-Leafs fan on the planet was trying to dunk on Leafs fans "oh he's different now!!!". Meanwhile he looks great early then goes completely invisible when he the games got the biggest. The exact same as his entire Leafs career.

Can already see Toronto fans clowning on Marner for having two quiet playoff games… the guy led the NHL playoffs in scoring while the Maple Leafs had an abysmal season, missed every aspect of his game, and finished 5th last. Laughable to clown on him imo

@GeneralsUpdates Happens a lot…Last year, ex-NHL goalie’s 5’6” goalie son got a draft…lowest producing forward on my nephew’s team got drafted by the OHL team his dad played for…etc., etc.

Was a lot made about "favour" picks late in the #OHL draft recently and a couple teams scouts came out and made posts saying how that doesn't happen. Soo just drafted a forward who had 4 goals in 33 games this season and his dad is an NHL coach and was a former Soo head coach

@akovy9 That's just because the GTHL doesn't post any of the stats, so only the top players get their #s up there

Tanner Adams taken 3rd overall and does not come to the stage to accept the Brampton jersey/hat. A hilarious draft moment that only happens because of the live draft. The Tavares' aren't sure why he isn't on the stage

They then went 9-1 with a GF/GA of 57/19 in the playoffs to win the GTHL. So a combined 42-1 in the GTHL this season with a GF/GA of 245/54

As we start looking ahead to the 2011 age group for the #2027OHLDraft, the Vaughan Kings went 33-0 in the GTHL this season with a goals for/against of 188/35
