AIPAC’s dark money group, “Chicago Progressive Partnership,” just filed another $500K media buy attacking Bernie-endorsed Junaid Ahmed from the left in IL08. Total spending against Junaid is now $664K. Junaid must be polling well against AIPAC-backed Melissa Bean.
AIPAC has now spent over $20 million in four Chicago House races. IL-02: $4,379,242.74 IL-07: $5,028,248.54 IL-08: $4,107,564.92 IL-09: $6,993,803.97 They know the AIPAC name is toxic, so they're using front groups like "Elect Chicago Women" & "Chicago Progressive Partnership."
Important piece. Looking for this sort of crypto/AI/Israel language on a campaign website is the quickest way to know if a candidate is a sell out. You can’t build a party for working people with a bunch of sellouts. The moral courage to stand up to these actors is essential.

Donald Trump promised to keep America out of costly and endless foreign wars. He is now doing the exact opposite in the Middle East. Congress must vote on a War Powers resolution immediately.
The “AI safety” super PAC largely backed by Anthropic is now up to nearly $700k (!) in North Carolina 4, backing @ValerieFoushee over @NidaAllam. Foushee is on the Dems AI task force. In 2022, she got $1m in backing from SBF AND $2M+ from AIPAC.
I'm told the top AI-related Super PAC is spending for Foushee in NC04. She's co-chair of House Dems' Commission on AI. Full report not yet available, but about $60,000 in ads were placed on the local ABC affiliate this weekend. There's a big AI data center fight in the district.
