It is 11 years today since Dean went missing, please keep his family in your thoughts 🙏🏻
ANNIVERSARY APPEAL - DEAN ROCHE
Dean Roche was 31 years old when he went missing Sunday 22 March 2015 from Ballyfoyle, Kilkenny, Ireland. He lived with his late mother in Hebron Park, Kilkenny and had left home that morning to purchase a car telling her he would see her later.
It was established Dean travelled by taxi to Ballyfoyle at approximately 19:00hrs. Soon afterwards, the vehicle was found crashed a short distance away. The last confirmed sighting of the Manchester United fan was at approximately 21:00hrs in the driveway of a property in Newpark.
Described as 5ft 8in in height and of slight build, with short brown hair and green eyes. Dean was wearing a black zipped tracksuit top, tracksuit bottoms and white trainers at the time of his disappearance.
Searches have been performed over a vast area of countryside, which is renowned for its slurry pits. Dean’s family have been reassured these pits have also been extensively searched. Garda were supported by the army, plus search dog and water units. Geraldine, his mother, passed away without knowing what happened to her beloved son.
The 31-year old’s family and Damien Hipwell, Dean’s best friend discuss how his disappearance has impacted their lives in episode four of Ar Iarraidh, a TG4 documentary series.
Dean features in season 11, episode 95 of The Missing Podcast where Damien explains why a promise made to Dean’s mother on her deathbed, means he’ll never stop searching for his friend (available on Amazon Music and other podcast platforms).
Anyone who has seen Dean or can help with the investigation, is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000, Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800 666 111 or Crimestoppers (Ireland) on 1800 250 025.

I am 54 years old and I am currently lying in my bed just feet away from mother who is lying in her bed. She is currently scared and confused because Alzheimer’s is robbing her of every function she has ever known how to do. Please pray for her and for me. Life is fleeting. Enjoy being with your loved ones while you can.
