Does make it slightly depressing that this is the most attention Thomas Twitter has given NVR Thomas in the past 10 years.

This would explain the two very different Thomas's at toy fair. It wasn't a prototype. The plastic toy was for the set they had on display, the metal toy was to represent the individual boxes

An important distinction to make (similar to the cars line) while the main single store engines are metal, the characters included in sets appear to be made entirely of plastic!

'Film Show' Friday! 'Flying Scotsman' emerging from a tunnel in a location that required a recce and then a 'camera on a pole' peeping under the fence to capture!! Good job it wasn't windy as I'd fitted a short telephoto and the camera fired 'rapid' ok!!

Jokes aside, is very sad to see another tv prop get destroyed. Even though he wasn't anyone important, there's still only one Colin, and it's a shame he wasn't properly taken cared of. I wish his new owner restores him, it's very sad to see him like this.

This is actually the first time seeing a HiT Entertainment Logo & a 2000s 2D Thomas on a packaging anywhere besides Japan. Japan still uses those two logos today because of Sony Creative Productions. But what made Mattel decide to make this move outside of Japan? Was it because of licensing agreements for international releases? Little things like this just make me scratch my head.
