@Go_Peter Hi, this option is still present in Fantastical :) Please go to Settings > Events & Tasks > Show calendar week numbers. Hope this helps!

Sigh. My M1 MacBook Air arbitrarily drops wi-fi and a restart is required to bring it back. All of my other devices are fine. Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions? Most of my Googling is yielding victim-blaming forum replies.

What tools/methods do you have in your company for a better remote vibe? Slack and 1 short Zoom call per day don't cut it. Just pls don't sell me on the "no meetings, no talking, just do everything async" bs. I believe that people need talking to colleagues, for the sake of it.

@devongovett This. Because a lot of the shiny web dev Twitter isn‘t possible with the limited resources the customer can afford

Interesting to see that webpack's usage is correlated with page rank, whereas Parcel's is pretty consistent across the board. Also the fact that such a small percentage of websites overall use any bundler at all. Sometimes feels like we live in a bubble on web dev twitter.

Interesting. HTTP Archive found Parcel on 1.3% of all pages it crawled in the 2022 Web Almanac. By comparison, webpack is at 5%. Not sure I believe it, but cool if true! 🤔 #fig-5" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">almanac.httparchive.org/en/2022/javasc…

any similar solutions to @MakeswiftHQ for visually editing next.js sites? tried Makeswift a couple of times but it throws so many weird errors that I gave up

@brad_frost LG 27QN880-B. Has Power Delivery up to 60W (enough for the 14 inch device), USB hub and audio connectors. Love that one. You don‘t even need an external hub

I'm now looking for an external monitor + dock setup for an M1 MacBook Pro, and feel like I'm getting lost in the nuance of it all: Thunderbolt vs USB-C; Thunderbolt 3 vs 4. I just want to connect a damn computer to an external monitor. Any product suggestions welcome.

There's just so many weird nuances for connecting a computer to an external monitor. For instance, my M1 MBA runs through an @PoweredbyOWC thunderbolt 3 dock and into a Dell monitor. The mini display port cable worked but then stopped, so now I have to use a HDMI dongle.

Billion dollar idea (not even joking): a mailing list service that has great looking, accessible email templates. It's incredible to me that this doesn't exist yet in such a lucrative market. I've used all the major ones, and they all have mediocre to bad default templates.

@k_eichinger @remix_run Absolutely agree. No worries about being direct. It looks terrible in basically every client that isn't Gmail. That's our bad. We will need to develop a custom template before we send another one.

Are there any keyboard shortcuts you regularly use in your IDE beyond: – Standard OS stuff (copy, paste, cursor movement) – Find/replace – Global find/replace – Fuzzy search for file – Show current file in explorer – Show git blame – Jump to line number

@JoshWComeau @swyx Had the same discussion with @vercel. After 1 TB traffic, there‘s just the Enterprise plan. Would be great if they would offer usage-based pricing as well. Or some step between the Pro and Enterprise (like Cloudflare does with the Business option)

What is your favorite office chair? I’ve been using an Aeron knock-off for the past 3-4 years. Looking for something new. What do you like?

@brian_d_vaughn I re-mapped the screenshot shortcuts to save them in the clipboard. No files, no floating thumbnails, just paste them wherever I want

I tried moving the laptop on the other side of the desk, almost no difference. Experimented with a lav mic to try different formats, but it picks up way too much fan noise. It's absurdly loud if I open anything else than Safari. I even tried apps like "Endurance", no bueno.

Those damn Macbook Pro 2019 fans are ridiculously loud all the time. For real, I have spent a lot of time and effort improving the acoustics of my setup. Blankets on the walls, carpets, foam. No reverb, but sounds like someone is vaacuming behind the mic 🙃
