@GodSpeed4 What I would actually like to see is a broadcast format where people could apply to restream matches (qualifiers, outside tables and/or early rounds) on Youtube or Twitch and provide their own commentary interacting with their viewers building watch along communities.

The European Championships are one of my favourite events to watch every season (Main Tour included) and it has been very enjoyable this year as well. I would've loved to have more of Daniel Kandi commentating. Also very happy with the two tour card winners Anton and Oliver. 😊

@esel_freund Have written to them anyway. He brings a new dimension. He had interesting perspectives on these players as he knows them well, plus he is pretty amusing and dynamic.

@GodSpeed4 The one match I watched with Daniel's commentary was just such a great example how this could turn out beautifully. Unfortunately I can't see that happening. But let's hope we get to listen to Daniel in commentary again in the future.

Me: I love the European Championships, all tables are streamed and there's a chance to get to know all the great young talents from Europe. And then I'm watching the same Ukrainian players over and over again. 😂

@Deco800_ I never thought he would make it back on tour. He's a lovely guy but am amazed. Not quite as amazed as I was when Alex Borg almost won this 3x in succession but for a single frame loss to Mark Allen, but it's up there.

@esel_freund Think that would be a new achievement unlocked. Mark Allen lost in final (then it was under 19s) the year he won the main event. Bottom half semi could be the tour card game tomorrow.

Michał Szubarczyk won the U16 and U18 last year (and reached the final of the main event). Aaron Hill won the U-18 and U-21 in 2020. But has anyone ever one the U-21 and the main event of the European Championship in the same year? Asking for a Kazakov.

@GodSpeed4 He lost this one earlier on the 3 miss rule. It seems he has adjusted his approach to this kind of situation afterwards.
