If we’re going to have a conservative civil war, the dividing line should be those who believe in protecting and preserving marriage, the family, and unborn life vs those indifferent or opposed. You can’t be a conservative in any meaningful sense if you don’t want to conserve the bedrock of civilization itself.

Before its civil war, Spain had dozens of factions. And yet, by 1936, the entire country had consolidated into just two blocs. The Nationalists were only able to win because they actively worked to incorporate every single non-Marxist subgroup they could into their coalition.
Carlists, Falangists, Constitutional Monarchists, Conservative Republicans, and even Right-leaning Liberals who were more terrified of a Marxist takeover of the country than they were of a restoration of some form of Traditionalism were all welcomed into the fold.
The Nationalist cause was not one defined by purity spiraling, unlike the Republicans, who continued to murder and coup each other even as their government collapsed for the crime of being a different type of Marxist.
If you sincerely believe that the only way to save this country is to find a new Washington, Cincinnatus, Cromwell, Caesar, or Franco, you only get to that point by making it as easy as possible to join your faction, so long as you share the same enemy.
