Grizzlies have suspended 2B @HewySteve for breaking team protocol, after pictures surface of vacation. Hewitt was placed on IR in June, as he battled a toe injury. Grizzlies PR rep @dougy__4 confirms Hewitt has been on vacation in lovely Squamish BC. More come on this story.

@TheHCFL @WaltonBrewers Well it’s that time again! Time to start the regular season with @HewySteve on the IR. Hewitt has been battling a toe injury all offseason, and re-aggravated it during a brisk walk with his two adorable Shih Tzu dogs. Hewitts 0.187 batting average will be missed! #hcfl
