Let’s be real for a second. Petrol was GH₵15.60 in January. Today it’s around GH₵12.98 and even after adding the new GH₵1 levy, we’re still paying less than we were under the previous government. That’s a fact. So what’s the outrage about? We’re saving roughly GH₵1.60 per litre, and that GH₵1 levy is being used to clean up the energy mess the NPP left, Billions in debts, unpaid capacity charges. If the NPP had managed the energy sector properly, we wouldn’t need this levy in the first place.

Minister for Transport directed to ensure expedited deployment of recently acquired 100 Metro Mass Transit Buses in addition to existing ones on high-traffic corridors and ensure maintenance of LOWER TRANSPORT FARES on those buses than what private operators charge. 3.ALL MINISTERS and SENIOR GOVERNMENT APPOINTEES to adhere STRICTLY to President's directive on cancellation of fuel allocations and allowance.

A prospective recruit of the Ghana Armed Forces has recounted his experience of yesterday’s tragic incident, revealing that there were issues of brutality on the part of some persons and a generally disorganized process.

I’m furious that in 2025 the army is still using such an outdated recruitment system. We’re quick to blame the government, yet we don’t question the people within the army who are responsible for protecting applicants’ welfare. What’s stopping the army’s HR leadership from creating a modern recruitment system? There needs to be a precedent to put an end to this. I’m watching to see how many negligence and psychiatric-harm claims end up being brought against the army for failing in their duty of care.
