It was basically child labor laws and the car that gives us the conception of the teenager in America. For teens who could afford it, the car meant freedom, a place to be intimate, another source of music (car radios). Cars are very unique in American history!

@wtflanksteak I had one of those "you don't notice it until you see it and it's now everywhere" moments talking to a barista in Seattle who was Gen Z and just told me "yeah we wear these because it's like, a fun distraction, the clear patches are more obvious" which, I guess is the mindset?

Some of them are not tiny i feel.
I used to use clear pimple patches and I don't know why the trend shifted to one's with designs.
