#connecting the top-down AWS standard approach with the bottom-up detail on the farmer and #landscape reality. This is generally a gap in #waterstewardship implementation. We need local knowledge and expertise to really translate Water Stewardship to ground level actions.👇

There is a disconnect between the generic nature of the AWS standard and the complex reality of farmers. Like any change in #agriculture, implementing water stewardship is a long term and time consuming task, and requires #connecting water stewardship with farmers and landscapes
