What is your opinion about him?

Yes, he's my favorite current Astro so it would hurt alot, but I'm an Astro fan before an individual player fan. Would have to clear out someone's farm system. Anyone thinking they shouldn't atleast consider it closer to the deadline is in denial or hasn't gone through this before.

Assuming the Astros are out of the race in July, would you trade Yordan? I'm on the fence because I love watching him hit, but that trade could be a catalyst to the future golden era.

If no turnaround, I kinda doubt Espada is let go before June at the earliest. I hate that his teams seem to always start slow but 2024 was another year they were basically left for dead. I think this pitching staff sucks ass though and it ain't happening again.

@michaelschwab13 Nah, there's no juice outside of Yordan. This pitching staff isn't full of guys with great stuff underachieving, so it's not going to miraculously get far better. They need to start being real about where they are at as an organization.

@JeremyBranham Problem is he might be their most "consistent" SP healthy right now, which uh.... yeah.

His first start of the year was neat, but LMJ isn’t a big league caliber pitcher.

Just not sustainable knowing you gotta put up 6+ runs to even compete on most nights
