Greenfleet has been revegetating Te Muri, a regional park in New Zealand since 2016. Restoring this land plays a vital role in preserving the park’s unique biodiversity and will help improve the quality of water that flows into Hungry Creek and the Puhoi River. #ClimateHope

How many insects can you spot on this Prickly Tea Tree? Planted at Devilbend Reservoir, Victoria, this species has high biodiversity values such as attracting nectar feeding insects and birds, and an ability to control erosion due to soil-binding fibrous roots. #ClimateHope

Kino is a botanical gum found on various species of trees. At our forest near Bonnie Doon in Victoria, the sun illuminates the magnificent amber hues of kino resin as it oozes from the trunk of a Black Wattle (Acacia mearnsii), forming into soft round lumps. #GrowingHope

📷at our forest near Baynton in central Victoria is Austral Indigo (Indigofera australis) a vibrant purple flower. The flowers attract bees and other insects due to their production of pollen and nectar and is great food source for butterfly larvae. #GrowingHope #Ecosystems

Roosting on native Banksia trees at Boona Point, NSW are Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos. Greenfleet has planted trees here with @SuthShireCncl since 2017. Partners for life, they rely on habitat to provide food and aged tree hollows to nest and protect their young. #GrowingHope

This Southern Blue Gum is planted at Wood, our forest near Apollo Bay, Victoria. It is tolerant to low nutrient soils, drought, wind and fire and its nectar is a food source for insects, birds and marsupials like the Vulnerable Yellow-bellied Glider. #ClimateHope

Sir David Attenborough described the threatened Giant Gippsland Earthworm as the “rarest and most extraordinary of all earthworms”. These 3 metre long worms make gurgling sounds as they move through their tunnels and can be found at our project called Glendalough (pictured).
