Mainly we talk about education on long runs or rides so it’s brilliant listening to @GrendonPrimary talk about his curriculum approach without me continuously interrupting and arguing! #nedtalks

JW gives example of 2013 and all that @GrendonPrimary brought into the curriculum by leaving space for current affairs. Argues that a crowded curriculum doesn’t allow this knowledge into the classroom. ‘We should give the curriculum space to breathe’. #nedtalks

At @GrendonPrimary, classrooms are really vibrant and ‘non-traditional’. Teachers are given huge autonomy on planning curriculum.

One of the things I love about JW’s approach at @GrendonPrimary is that he’s stayed there for 10 years (+ counting). His approach is not easily replicated and his attention to implementation has been forensic and sustained. #nedtalks

Cedar Class received a package full of goodies and thanks from their friends at the Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs! The children immersed themselves in the work of the sanctuary and raised vital funds. Amazing to see our pupils' actions impacting at an international level!
