The Weekend Bio markets, organized by our local partner in #Senegal, AGRECOL Afrique, exemplify the value of agroecology in creating thriving communities, stronger farmer-consumer relationships, and sustainable livelihoods.

Our local partner, EkoRural, uses a people-centered approach to strengthen local capacity for continuous innovation. They work with Indigenous and mestizo communities to embrace regenerative methods that restore soil health and biodiversity.

At Groundswell International, we center the practice of farmers innovating and working with nature instead of against it, spreading solutions farmer-to-farmer to regenerate landscapes.

🌍 We recently gathered in Berlin with our NGO partners to learn from farmers leading agroecological change. Over the next two years, we’ll focus on key priorities, including women’s leadership in agroecology, farmer-led soil and water conservation, and climate resilience.

Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR) is a scalable, regenerative way to restore land and support farmers with a high adoption and success rate. It protects cropland against erosion, improves soil health, regenerates seedlings, and conserves endangered flora and fauna.

Our shared Program Objectives with our partners in the field are focused on advancing agroecology through practical, community-driven solutions. These objectives form the foundation of our commitment to creating regenerative, equitable, and resilient food systems.
