Today’s whole grade morning meeting was fun acting out landforms like tall 🏔️, flowing 💧, and flat grass. Today we made sure to use communication boards to help blend in our different language abilities. ❤️ @ATS_FCPS

Cookie has many ways to travel to school and around school. Today he went to buses to say goodbye to the kids.

Great day back from winter break! We rocked out at library, mixed colors on paper towels, built with new blocks and cooked up sushi in the kitchen!

We are really working hard on our non tech STEAM/computer science challenges. We having been practicing sorting kitchen items to make following a sequence easier for baking apple and pumpkin pies. @FCPSSTEAM

Cute scientists predicting and testing what real and pretend fall items might sink or float. Even heavy things can float!

Preschool had a lot of fun today in our 5 senses sensory walk. We can feel and describe so many different attributes!

STEAM action today in preschool. We first made popsicle stick monarch caterpillars, then we used Keva planks to build milkweed strong enough to hold and feed our caterpillars! Lots of planning and replanning when our ideas didn’t work. @FCPSSTEAM

Preschool rocked colors week for red, orange, yellow, green and blue!

Well… The verdict is in. It has been definitely had enough to cook an egg outside! Ours turned hard way before dismissal.
