Yesterday, Halo Studios former art director Glenn Israel revealed why he left the studio last year: He witnessed and was subjected to blacklisting, fraud, rampant favoritism/cronyism and multiple harassment campaigns. He also said, “That in August 2025, the catastrophic mismanagement of Halo Campaign Evolved created an opportunity for senior Halo Studios representatives to temporarily reassign the art team from my unannounced project and falsely characterize my role as "redundant", a plainly retaliatory act.” They move his art team from an unannounced project to Campaign Evolved due to development issues 👀 #Halo

Me and friends all had break ups in this post-COVID social media era, and they were all amicable.

@GyarikYes @LimYenKheng and if you ever need to use latex for whatever you can just use tylax as a bidirectional automatic converter between them

had too many students not able to install latex on their computers, and the only way they write tex documents is on Overleaf. This feels wrong. Tex is supposed to be open software, but still being used via an enshittified entity, online dependent. It shouldn't be like this

@uwuboyfriendasm @LimYenKheng after years of others telling me to keep using LaTeX (done quite a lot of documents for uni), i tried Typst for my thesis, and yeah, I should stop listening. idrc that Typst is younger so it doesn't host as many packages, but holy shit the learning curve it's night and day

@LimYenKheng to be fair latex is such ridicolously bloated and software. the whole biber thing is such a mess. it's 2026 just use typst, the fact that pdf compile times are measured in anything but microseconds in this day and age is asinine
