Hey stranger👋..,
I know life can feel overwhelming right now. But please don’t let a temporary moment convince you to make a permanent decision. 🥺
This phase will pass. It always does.
Distract your mind …music, gym, anything that keeps you going. You’re stronger than you feel right now.
God hasn’t forgotten you. You are valued, you are needed, and you matter more than you know. ❤️
Sending you lots of love and hugs 🤍🫂

The interview was hosted by a famous male mathematician not female mathematician
No Man will spend more time talking to a girl than a boy in an intellectual setting, if it happens the same you might come out to say "why is he talking to her soo much, why is he making her uncomfortable, are those questions necessary, why is he asking her daily routines and on and on.
But with the boy he has already avoided over 90% possible criticism and the both of them will be able to relate cus they might have lived the same lives have similar feelings and all.
It can also be a case of "what made you fall back?" Because sometimes a persons loss might be greater than another's winning
You said "awkward genius" meaning that the boy is a regular at winning, therefore it's is expected that him coming second will be more interesting.
This also applies to the year book info (if you're honest)
It shows that the girls is a new face and the boy is a regular.
Hope you understand.

A 14-year-old girl won a national math competition, solving a problem that stumped everyone else. The second-place boy, who finished 45 minutes behind her, told a reporter that she was "probably just lucky" and that she "didn't seem that smart in person." The math community, predominantly male, chuckled at the "awkward genius" trope. At the awards ceremony. the host a famous male mathematician, spent more time interviewing the boy about his "process" than acknowledging her victory. Her photo in the yearbook was captioned "Math Club Member." His was captioned "Math Prodigy." She quit the math club within a year. But go ahead, keep saying we need more girls in math-Yves
