Police Dog Zara mentioned in Scottish Parliament. I am grateful to Douglas Ross MSP for mentioning the plight of PD Zara of Police Scotland in the Scottish Parliament yesterday. It is right that questions are asked and that lessons are learned. We now need answers not only on the more general question of insurance but more importantly at this time, what happened to PD Zara and should she still be alive? Police Dog Zara’s name will be forever stored in The Official Report, the Scottish equivalent to Westminster’s Hansard, which is a written record of what is said in parliament and is stored forever. I hope that brings some comfort to her handler, her family, her puppy walker, her breeder and anyone else who was positively involved with her life and miss her today. Hopefully what happened to Zara will create change and she will be remembered. #FinnsLawScotland#FinnsLawPart2 @ThinBluePaw

@JulesAllenxx People commenting online about anyone's weight (animal or human) are always best ignored. They never have the full picture of health or circumstances-uninformed opinions aren't helpful, & usually not well intentioned.

@EastMidRailway I would be grateful if you could pass my feedback onto the team dealing with pilot. I don't appreciate the inconvenience or extra congestion. Just ensure that you have staff checking tickets properly on trains & you can catch fare dodgers.

@EastMidRailway huge inconvenience at Nottingham Station today. Clearly revenue matters more than safety or customer service. Aren't constant missing carriages, train crews & cancellations enough? Do we really need creativity in poor service?

@EastMidRailway In a clash between maximising your revenue & protecting customer service and safety you have chosen the former. Please explain why you think that this doesn't amount to prioritising your revenue over customer service?

@HPMHall Good morning Helen. We are not prioritizing revenue over service, but we have a duty to protect the revenue, which is customer paying money as well. ^TT

@EastMidRailway In closing a footbridge and causing massive inconvenience and generating unnecessary congestion you ARE putting your revenue ahead of customer service. At least be honest and admit that please.

@EastMidRailway This meant it took a lot longer to get to the trains if you arrived by tram or from Station St side. Also congestion at the main ticket barriers. Huge inconvenience. Revenue mattered more than customer service.

@EastMidRailway Happy to-central footbridge at Nottingham station was closed, meaning everyone had to go round to the front of the station to access the platforms, regardless of how/where they arrived. No advance warning was given.
