The Executive Governor of Katsina State @dikko_radda has given approval for the prompt rehabilitation of the neglected Kankia Groundnut Processing Centre. The rehabilitation includes the construction of additional facilities, procurement of modern processing machines, and rehabilitation of the existing structures. This initiative aims to revitalize the local economy by enhancing production capacity and creating job opportunities for the community. Stakeholders are optimistic that these developments will attract investment and foster sustainable growth in the region. Ultimately, the successful rehabilitation of the centre is expected to position Katsina State as a key player in the groundnut industry.
