Day 5 marked one of HIT's most visible and engaged participations at ZITF. Under the theme "Designing the future", HIT demonstrated, with clarity and conviction, that technology education, development and innovation are central to Zimbabwe's industrialisation agenda.
Throughout the exhibition, HIT's stand in Hall 3 showcased the "Innovation and Technopreneurial University's" commitment to applied research, technology commercialisation, and the development of industry-ready graduates who create innovative products and services. People from across government, the private sector, and the public met with HIT to learn about its academic programmes, incubation initiatives, and collaborative partnerships that are shaping the future of Zimbabwean industry.

Day 3 at the 66th Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF 2026) in Bulawayo brought a landmark moment for the Harare Institute of Technology (HIT), a visit to our exhibition stand in Hall 3 by the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development, Ambassador F. Shava.
