I lost $30K today on $TSLA. Well… technically I lost $1,800. But when you catch a hammer off the $420 key level, enter TSLA 0DTE $425c at $2.20, respect your ORB stop, get stopped out… and then watch those same contracts run to $25 each… Yeah. It feels like a $30K loss. Thankfully, I was fortunate enough to catch some big moves on $APLD +104% and $CRCL for +287% today… but this one will still sting for a while. 😂 This is the part of trading nobody talks about enough. The emotional pain usually doesn’t come from actual losses. It comes from being right on direction… but wrong on execution, sizing, timing, or risk management. Today was a reminder of a few things: • A good stop can still lead to a frustrating outcome • Following your plan will sometimes cost you massive winners • ORB failures can reclaim just as violently as they fail • Trading is probabilities, not predictions • The goal is survival first, home runs second That’s trading... (I need a hug)
