Last Thursday I happened to be in California for a friend’s wedding. I crashed my daddy’s hotel room while he was there to watch my sisters skate. Just by chance. We watched practice together. We got boba. We crashed my sisters’ hotel, just for a little extra family time.

Today I had an unexpected morning off, explored my new city, and reflected on my first month of residency... Long story short, I'm so grateful. From the people who check in from afar to those who literally walk me through life on the daily, I am so lucky.

Thoughts in the time of #COVID resurgence: 1. When discussing vaccines with those still deliberating, #shameaintit. 2. Got symptoms? Get tested. Got exposed? Get tested. Don’t talk yourself out of it. 3. OTC tests are easy. I say buy one BEFORE you need it. #supportisaverb

So, I have been trying to meet my patients where they are in terms of vaccination, especially with the rising concern of variants. What strategies have been effective when the patient says “TikTok is telling me it’s dangerous?” I feel very helpless to respond #medtwitter #Vaccine
