It’s not a straight shot to the far side of the Moon! 🌕 Over approximately 10 days, the Artemis II astronauts will orbit Earth twice before looping around the far side of the Moon in a figure eight and returning home.

Day3: The pricing model behind HatchHL. Linear bonding curve. Price = BASE-PRICE + SLOPE x tokens-sold. As people buy, supply increases and price rises; As people sell and tokens burn, supply drops and price falls. Always a price. Always liquidity. No order books, no market makers, no slippage from thin order books. The buy cost integrates the price curve using a trapezoidal formula. Sell refunds work in reverse. Converting SOL to token quantity uses the quadratic formula server-side for accuracy, and binary search on the frontend for real-time quote previews. hatchhl.xyz

Day Two: How HatchHL actually works: So HatchHL actually works by starting with the foundation. React, Vite, and TypeScript on the frontend. Serverless functions on Vercel. Supabase for all persistent data. Solana via solana/web3.js and SPL token library. Then Phantom and Solflare supported through the Solana wallet adapter. Every critical variable, network, RPC endpoint, mint authority, treasury address; is an environment variable. We made sure to build something like this even while still on devnet so flipping to mainnet is a configuration change, not a code change. We built it that way from day one. This is exactly why we are building @Hatch_HL. Mandatory on-chain developer locks, wallet concentration detection, and a trust score that makes insider accumulation visible before it tends to become a $40M problem. Maybe it’s time we need to cut team and developers some slack especially the genuine ones and make sure the infrastructure enforces it. As a space we need to create an environment that lightens the burdens of builders and this is one way we can help.

For weeks now we have been building in silence. React/Vite frontend. Supabase database. Serverless API routes on Vercel handling all on-chain logic. Phantom and Solflare supported via Solana wallet adapter. One of the less obvious challenges building on Solana in a browser environment; Node.js built-ins like Buffer, stream, and events don’t exist natively in the browser. We were able to solve this with custom polyfills loaded before anything else, so Solana’s web3 libraries run cleanly without breaking. The bonding curve math runs on BigInt, because when real money is involved, precision isn’t optional. This is just the beginning. About 6-7 weeks ago, I texted @_Oluwabukunmi_ and told him I had an idea. We started brainstorming immediately, and that’s how HatchHL came to life. Through that period we built, scattered, and rebuilt. Took feedback, improved, and finalized the infrastructure we actually want to pull off. Today we’re announcing that @Hatch_HL is applying to @nitrodotacc To our friends and private testers; your feedback gave birth to something real. We appreciate every single one of you. For too long communities have lacked real trust infrastructure. We want to change that. We want to make sure devs and creators stay committed to the communities they launch tokens for; not just extract and move on. @armaniferrante said he doesn’t want anyone to make the world a better place more than him.
