Supporting those facing their own fights with mental illness and ensuring that no one ever has to face those battles alone. #NoOneFightsAlone

For Ricky Hatton, boxing was more than a sport, he always said many of times that boxing was his escape. Ricky inspired many to put their first pair of gloves on, including myself. 2 weight division World Champion and boxing Hall of Famer. When Ricky fought, everyone watched. His fast and powerful hands with his boxing style was so exciting and a thrill to watch, especially with his trademark body shot that dropped many of his opponents. Ricky used his platform to help others who struggle with depression and mental health problems. Even going through his own struggle, he always wanted to tell people it’s okay to ask for help. He showed us that it’s okay to express your emotions without feeling weak because he gave the message that one of bravest, courageous and strongest things you can do is speak out and ask for help. Thank you for being one of my first inspirations in boxing as a youngster and one of my biggest inspirations outside the ring as I got older. He will always inspire me through boxing and his battles outside of the ring. That’s his legacy. Ricky inspired everyone inside the ring and outside of the ring and that’s the ultimate champion. He will always be the most loved and the man of the people. There will only ever be one Ricky Hatton. Rest in peace champ. 🩵 @HitmanHatton #RickyHatton
