@NICU_Musings Who knows? The other RCT study by Baske et al was 45 min for reversal of shock. Hopefully the larger Canadian trial brings more answers!

@HebertAudrey3 small study so I take the secondary outcomes with a grain of salt. Like many studies they had to set a primary objective and in this case it was a 30 min time frame. If longer would there be a difference?

Contrary to recent thought in #neotwitter circles dopamine vs norepinephrine RCT for empiric treatment of shock not much different Neonates with shock reversal at 30 minutes was 32% vs 46% in NE and DA groups, (RR 0.69, 95% CI 0.39 to 1.20, p=0.19) pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40252959/
