@Hef0909 @OBBY001 That was certainly the clubs narrative I have heard first hand accounts of calls from Dwyer directly to Aust U21 players with offers of job, car and free rent if they’d move to play for Randwick They weren’t the only club to do that sort of thing

@OBBY001 Club great is probably fair Played at a club that paid players handsomely during the amateur era so was surrounded by talent and was a good goal kicker Dwyer (Randwick coach) only took him to RWC in 91 to give the team practice at receiving kickoffs
