This is a first try after who knows how many other tries in how many other saves. It's like saying you beat malenia in your 60th playthrough on first try

i hate how deltarune fans suck at games, because all the bosses are too damn easy. i just beat the roaring knight no mantle first try during a relaxes controller play through

@NuggvtZ @DevMajorAbel I have no clue why so many ppl fight that it's about Pomni. Literally none of the scenes are Pomni exclusive, and only like 2 of the clips are the two of them together. The rest are JUST JAX.

@infadier So true because this whole debate on what makes a secret boss a secret boss last time with Ramb and The Knight was so annoying. We didn't learn the lesson that this shit doesn't really have harsh limits. It's very soft rules that can be broken because who cares

i don't wanna stretch and say pink had good buildup but she's certainly different. if you wanna look at her from the lens of the other secret bosses you'll get disappointed but she also does a lotta cool stuff!! tdlr if you look at it from a linear view you'll be sad

not a single secret boss does all of these things

@euclicide Tbf that's also part of the fact that we had a year to digest 3 and 4 and theorize over every detail. This chapters pacing makes a lot more sense with the story it tried to tell and keeping in mind all these chapters are meant to be played together.

@sillycircuitry I love how this is also the OPPOSITE of Asgores choice. Like he chose to go back to the real world, not staying in what should be an amazing place for him. Susie, with more knowledge of the Dark Worlds, decides to go back and live in that fantasy rather than liver in reality

#deltarunespoilers i think this scene is super tragic but not in the way u guys seem to be implying? its tragic bc she has no other options, her home life is seemingly so terrible she has to live in make believe land. the insinuation shes delusional or something is odd to me

i think being worried that the next two chapters will feel rushed is kinda dumb? we have TWO chapters. possibly LONGER chapters. TWO. (2) CHAPTERS. all characters have been developed now with ralsei. TWO (2) CHAPTERS worth of penumbra gaster friendslop. TWO (2) UNDERTALES.

@EEbut2 @drit__ Oh yeah I mean I noticed those things. I noticed on the come around that the figure was missing, and was wondering about the shop and the mannequin dialog. I'm not saying it came from no where, but it's like zero buildup in comparison to like Spamton and Gerson imo. Love her tho

@HeismanLarry @drit__ you can see the figure on his car along with seam talking about the mannequin armor which is ONLY effective against puppets/cats which both are related to mew mew tbh there was a bit of build up but its only if you REALLY look for it

@ikeplushie I think Chapter 5 didn't serve to peoples headcanon thought of how the story would go tbh. I liked how surprising it was. Ch 5 may not be perfect but I think its way better than people are giving credit for

@FoolPlanet But now you're changing the subject, aren't you? This chapter lacked substance in terms of the overall narrative, in stark contrast to Ch4. Obviously it was fun to play and looked amazing, but let's be honest most people are primarily interested in the narrative.

I’m not gonna argue with Deltarune fans who think a chapter filled with the most in your face character development of all time is “not moving the story forwards” just because they didn’t show you Dess’ corpse or reveal that freedom is a penumbra phantasm for big shots
